Do not be afraid of the veggie burger. A fresh veggie burger makes the frozen patties look like hockey pucks. I decide to search the city for some great veggie burgers and some fabulous deals available today! And yes some of these establishments (actually all of them) also sell meat burgers for el carnivores, but I’d prefer we show the popularity of a our veg preferences by ordering so that our options are expanded.

I checked and Bare Burger has not one but two veggie options available and both are 100% vegan! Be aware that their primary veggie burger is made of an oat/rice base with walnuts (for those of you who have nut/gluten allergies)

Another quick bit, diner style 100% vegan burger on the cheap! The average pice is $5.00 for a basic burger but for a dollar more, you can upgrade to a California Veggie with avocado, lettuce, tomato, pickles, hold the chipotle mayo. They have several locations in Manhattan.
